History
In October of 1990, S & J Precision was formed by Steve and
Sheila Wallace in a two car garage… a very cramped beginning.
After just one year, the company had outgrown its modest quarters
and had to make the move to a bigger facility. Although it was only
2,000 square feet, it was a big improvement.
Between May of 1992 and January 1995, Steve and Sheila were involved
in the acquisition of another machine shop in partnership with a
third party. On January 1, 1995, the decision was made to sell their
stock in the second machine shop so that they could focus all of
their energies on S & J Precision.
During that next year, S & J grew dramatically from five to
fifteen employees, and continues to grow today. In May of 1996,
the company moved into an expansive new 16,000 sq. ft. facility.
Thanks to a dedicated team of knowledgeable professionals, the technology
to meet the needs of the future and a consistent focus on quality
and service, we anticipate continued growth for years to come. |
